QuestionWhat's your best source for collars?

PetSmart & Petco have a ton of choices for collars, as long as you have a small breed or want adjustable collars.

Lily has an adjustable one, but it tends to slip gradually more loose when we go for walks. She's a regular swimmer in the backyard pool and I don't always catch her to take off the collar before she goes in. I tried a leather collar from the store, but it stretched tremendously after one quick swim.

Basic question - where do you get your collars? I'm assuming many of your dogs swim or get wet on a regular basis ... they're labs after all.

    Thanks!
Lily at 5 months old at Wrightsville Beach, NC

I think I have purchased all of Sammi's online, and have used several different sites, one of them is hotdogcollars.com, but there are many out there. Have fun

We have used several different online sources. My favorite for something really unique, retro-pet.com (all vintage retro 60's fabrics) has closed up shop.

    Here's a couple more we've ordered from:

These are some of my favorite collars the boys have. If you click on the small picture, Angus has "Day" and Simon has "Night." I didn't buy them from here, but they are very high quality collars.

We got some waterproof collars from this site several years ago. Great for swimming!

You will like these if your dog swims!...

Your dog swims?-The Air Collar Dries Quickly.
Your dog's collar stinks?-The Air Collar Breathes and does not retain odor as easily as webbing or leather and is washable.
Your dog has skin allergies, hot spots or other irritations?-The Air Collar is so lightweight and breathable that it will not cause or exacerbate irritations.
You want your dog to look cool?-The Air Collar comes in many fun, cool and original patterns so your dog will truly be a "Spiffy Dog"!
We've bought a couple of these collars for Dexter. They have all kinds of patterns and colors. The material is like what you would find on a running shoe, so they are light and airy.
