We were thinking about going to the Seattle Kennel Club dog show this weekend. We went once several years ago and had a good time. I was looking over the program to try to figure out when we wanted to be there. We'll probably just go for a few hours on one of the two days.
It looks like each day is actually treated as a separate show, with all breed and group judging occurring on both days (along with Obedience and Rally).
Is that typical?
Do any/many of the same dogs get entered for both days?
Unfortunately, Labs are being shown too early in the morning for us to see them. They are definitely one of the breeds with the most entries (46 on Saturday and 40 on Sunday).
We'll also watch some agility and probably some of the various demonstrations.
Should be fun.

Yes, at most shows each day is a separate show. Yes, many dogs will be entered both days. Have fun!!
Keep in mind too that 45 labs will take about an hour and a half to judge, so even if they start too early, they will end later than that. Also if there are breeds in the ring before them, that will push back the time as well. Usually the time stated is the time the ring starts, not the particular breed
Have fun! Bring your credit card, usually a lot of the bigger shows have great shopping!
