Our Lab Sandy is 1 and a half years old. She is a sweet girl. At 8 months old, she was diagnosed with hip dysplacia and was operated. She now has a titanium rod on her left leg. After her surgery, we were to keep her away from stairs for about 3 months. Living on the 3rd and fourth floors in our home in Greece, we trained Sandy to do her business in our back yard. Until today, she does all her business in the backyard. During our long walks, she does not do her business and waits till she gets home and runs to the back door!!
Does anyone have any tips to get Sandy to start doing her business during our walks? Also important to note is that Sandy sleeps in the backyard during the nighttime when we go to bed.
Looking forward to hearing from you!!!
