    DefaultLump after Spaying

Stoli has just develpoed a lump just to the side of her sutures. I have read online that this can be normal and usually is internal suture swelling. I plan on calling the vet first thing in the morning but is there anything else yall think I should do? Should i be worried??

    Thx
    Tim

I wouldn't worry about it. It will probably resolve itself.

Abby had a small lump by her incision when she was spayed. Our vet said it could be just a reaction to the sutures. It did resolve in a few days.

Cybil had that too (lumps caused by a reaction to the sutures). It went away on its own. However if you're not sure call your vet ... better safe than sorry.

Miko also had a lump (about the size of a small egg) at the suture site. We had our vet look at it. He said that it is just a reaction that will go away by itself. And sure enough, it did.
