    DefaultRemy! Where's the sponge!?

So I go down to the basement to check on the laundry this a.m. As I open the dryer door and stick my hand in (to find the clothes still wet arggggghhh)...I hear "pitter patter pitter patter.......thump!...scurry scurry scurry" from the ceiling above my head. That would be Remy getting something off the counter. I high tail it back up stairs and call him. He comes running to me from outside with nothing in his mouth. Then I notice the kitchen sponge is gone. Since he's by my side I start looking around for it cuz he had it only for a minute.

    I cannot find it.

Now, this is the 2nd sponge that's gone missing. The first one Remy chewed to smithereens and consumed half of. No problem. But this one...he didn't have time to chew it up. I'm worried he's got a couple of large chunks of sponge in there. I guess I'll just have to wait and see...and take a good look in the bushes to see if he dropped it somewhere when I go home at lunch.

To put your mind at ease, I hope you find the sponge. I know what that thump sound means too.(Judy) Once I saw this bright green stuff in Judy's poo and freaked out until I realized it's my kitchen sponge.

He´ll probably throw it up later. When Misha used to have a doggie bed (looong time ago when I was naive) she destroyed them and ate the filling (sponge mainly). She always threw it up at some point. Let´s hope it just passes through.

    Remy you´re a brat!

I should count myself VERY lucky...Java has never chewed anything, ever that she's not supposed to. TP, shoes, chair legs....she has never once even tried to counter-surf. She hides socks behind chairs, but never eats them or even chews them, she sucks on them (eww) and she picks up my sons sneakers and throws them in the air and plays with them.
Remy,really-how good could that kitchen sponge possibly taste??? lol

    Oh Remy, tisk tisk!
I had Daisy steal a little container of tomatoes off the counter yesterday while I was in the bathroom---first time ever, she ate some and was circling it when I caught her and then the tail wagged like mad! Then today our lab mix, Lola, stole my toast right off my plate. Naughty girls!
