Karina convinced me to post so I donít go into a full blown panic all by myselfÖ Saba has a lump under one of his front legs that Iíve been watching for a while and lately increased in size. Itís only on the skin and itís not hard but not too soft either. To add to it, heís also had a sty in the corner of one of his eyes that also got a lot bigger recently and this morning I noticed he got (on the same eye) a white spot on the bottom lid of the eye.
I called the vet first thing this morning and we have an apt. for next Tuesday afternoon (my vet is away this week and Iíd rather see him than anyone else). I really hope itís nothing. I seriously go into a panic-like-mode thinking of all the worst case scenarios. Heís very healthy otherwise so I know Iím probably overreacting but thatís me. I love my monkey so much. So please, if you could just spare some good thoughts for my baby I would really appreciate it.
Good thoughts and prayers for Saba! Hope it turns out not to be serious.
You got it. Good thoughts on the way for you and Saba. Hoping its just a labrador bump that isn't serious. Keep us posted.
Try not to panic.. tuck started getting lumps last year (he's 7 now) and the vet checked them all with none showeing anything abnormal. She said labs are notorious for getting lumps and most are harmless..
That's probably little comfort, but hopefully Saba is fine.. and for some reason, this always happens when the vet is away, doesn't it?

Sending good thoughts. Hope it turns out to be nothing.

Definitely lots of good thoughts for Saba. Hopefully it is nothing serious.
Jenica has a lump on her rib cage that remained very small for a long time and then suddenly grew a bit. At that point the vet was able to extract some fluid with a needle and it is just a fatty lump. But I remember te panic when we noticed it growing. Good thoughts for both of you.
Good thoughts and prayers for Saba and you.

Some people are like slinkies. Not really good for much, but bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.
Thank you... it helped with the initial panic... I do hope it's just fatty deposit and nothing else... but... you know, can't help but worry about him.
Good thoughts for Saba, and yourself.
HK is going to the vet this afternoon so they can look at a growth on her skin. Appears to be like a wart, but the vet will tell me what it is.
