Anyone here use a car seat hammock for your dog. I'm thinking of getting one for Ruger. He has to ride in the center seat of our trailblazer, and the crate I have there is very uncomfortable for him, it tilts back toward the seat, is very narrow for him.
This is what I'm looking to get. I realize there is a safety concern with the dog not being in a crate, but am still considering this.
Wondering if anyone has used it and what do you think of it.
yes i have one in the suburban. i got it from jeffers pets. it's a canvas type that loops exactly like that one and has pockets at the top to store your "whatever".
I've thought about them, too.. but I just have seatbelts for the two dogs and a canvas-type cover made for my backseat.
We were just looking at that the other day, I think we'll pick one up and see how we like it!

We had one for the station wagon. It was okay - it kept the majority of the dirt and hair off the seats, etc. but if you have any concerns about him still jumping around and going in the front seat etc. it doesn't stop them from doing that.

We have one. However, while Brooklyn curls up and sleeps on it...Remy crawls down the side and gets underneath the thing. He likes to curl up on the floor. And occasionally check out how we're driving. He has also been know to get up on the seat with the hammock over his head like a tent. Doofus.
I guess it depends on the dog.
