It doesn't show the vertical fracture, but yes, that's one of Ollie's furs on the premolar ahead of it.
Aww poor Hens. That looks pretty bad. When is he scheduled to have it removed?
On Thursday, Justine.
I felt so bad when Abbey broke one of her upper incisors - it broke almost to the gumline and the pulp was exposed.. I wouldn't have noticed unless I had went to brush her teeth because she was eating and drinking like normal.
Ouch, Hen! I hope he isn't in too much pain from now until Thursday, why such a long wait, Felicia?

Is he getting an antibiotic Felicia? I'd think with the pulp exposed for that length of time they'd be giving him something.
It may sound silly, but if he seems to be in pain (I'm sure they gave you something for that, I used baby orajel (Owee liked the Grape best) but I'll warn you, its very FUNNY the first time you use it!

Yes, he's on an antibiotic prophylactically until the extraction, and he's on pain meds as well. He doesn't seem to be too uncomfortable, though he is making the most lovely cow plops of poop, due to the antibiotic, I imagine. I've been giving him a probiotic as well, to help with that.
Thursday was the first available surgery appt with our vet, it would have been another week to wait for the vet dentist.
