I really do wonder about myself sometimes.
    Nice word, though, isn't it?

My young'uns tousle on a daily basis, infact i'd go as far as to say the verb "to tousle" is a regularly used verb in our house!

Ever see a cute kid or dog and just ruffle their hair or fur with your hand? "tousle"
Ever see two dogs or little boys rolling around on the floor, rough-housing in play? "tousling"

    Like that.

tousle - mess around, mess up ????

To put into disorder; to tumble; to touse.

It's not the destination, it's the journey!

pardon the word purist in me: tousle is to muss up, ruffle.. Tussle is to rough house.

Tousle is also a good name for ragamuffin terrier mixes that need to live in the Wooserie...
