Well, I thought a little international input on the dog-side of my life would be good, so here we are.
I have a black Labrador Retriever after what you very well could call conformation lines.
We live on top of the world in the polar region of Norway, having snow, northern lights and midnight sun as our best friends.
She includes Licitha's and Mambrino's lines And 80% of her ancestry has some sort of champion-title in the conformation type.
Even though that, she is considered to be "thin" because my reluctance to over-feed her. She also has that "Lab stripe" between her eyes that most likely will drag her down in shows. Her tail most likely have some issues as well, cause it's always UP in a 90 degree angle, with a bend on it, almost like a polar dog. Last but not least her teeth is not 100% scissor, 99% I would say. She has a marginal under-bite.
But despite her "faulted looks" she is fantastic, kind, exceptionally good with other dogs, and we have plans of tracking and perhaps work as a search-and-rescue dog
