This is cool. I stumbled onto this site while I was looking for a pup online. Since then I have found by new buddy. He is a Yellow Lab and his name is Sonny. Sonny just turned 14 weeks and he's already a huge part of our home. We are going through the normal new puppy things, like house training and chewing, but he seems to be very trainable.

If any of you have any advice on types of dog food and the amount he should be eating daily, I would be grateful.

    Welcome to this amazing forum.
As Tundra suggested, explore other sub-forums. People here are always very responsive and generous sharing their knowledge and experience. Sonny looks amazing. He is going to be a big boy. My Henna is 14 weeks and she says Hi too!

Welcome to the Forum! I agree, post your food question in other sections, you will get LOTS of help. I don't have a young pup, Jake is 14 months and Ginger will be 2 in a couple weeks, but I feed ProPlan Sensitive Skin and Stomach. I have been very happy with it. You will find lots of good information here regarding food, so post away.

Post some pics too, we love them ;D

Hi-I'm new here too. Have you had other dogs before? More particularly Labs?

Yes, I just recently lost my Great Dane. He was a great dog, but sadly they have a short life span. I also have a Min. Snauzer (I know....I aborted the spelling) ;D. Right now, he's trying to cope with being a "chew toy" for my Lab.
