    DefaultIntroducing Henna

First of all I want to thank all of you who shared your experience and knowledge answering to my questions and concerns.

Henna came to live with me last week and I am loving each opportunity I get to play with her. She is 13 weeks and we went to our first obedience (puppy) class last Monday and even though I was affraid she was a bit shy and reserved, she surprised me being very active and friendly towards all the other dogs. She would jump and "bark" and do some biting with larger puppies. She had a blast and I was very proud of her.

Henna already sits and gets down on command. She even touches the hanging bell by the kitchen door when she needs to go out. When it is too cold or at night she doesn't go too far from the deck to go to the bathroom and I am fine with that. During the day she goes to where she is expected to go which is a bit farther.

She had her 3rd dose of her triple vaccine today and she is snoring in my bedroom while I watch tv and do some work. I realized that even though I love her being by my side keeping my feet warm, she was not getting enough good sleep because she would wake up and follow me every time I'd go to the kitchen, so I put her in her crate in my bedroom with a blanket partially covering her crate and the door almost closed.

OK. With no further details by now, I am proudly attaching my black girl's pictures (I don't have a nice camera and she decided to chew on my webcam two nights ago )

    Thank you!!!

It is amazing to see how she becomes more and more aware of her surroundings, her name, noises, sounds from the street, birds, etc.
She went to her second puppy class tonight and she was not very focused but she really had a great time during the breaks chasing the bigger dogs. She is unstoppable ;D and is doing real good with her bathroom calls and walking with the leash.

Thanks for stopping by and for your compliments.
