Jabber Jaws Jasper
My wife and I got our Chocolate Labrador Triple "J" over 5 years ago. My wife is actually allergic to dogs, but loves them so much she was willing to work a deal with me and the type of dog we got. We looked up a breeder, Diamond R Kennels in Belgrade, Montana and they told us when we could come down to pick up our puppy. I love this story. We went there and were the first to pick from the litter. Jaspers moms name is Cinnamon Bear. She had a litter of six puppies, three girls and three boys. We wanted a boy. So we separated the boys from the girls and I had to make a tough decision. I picked the soft, gentle puppy that didn't make a sound and came right up to me. Well, we headed back up to Great Falls, MT with Jasper. Half way there we made a stop to see if he had to go pottie. I let him out and gave him some water. As I picked him up, I noticed he wasn't carrying the right puppy package if ya know what I mean. Yep, we grabbed a girl. Somehow she got pulled out and put in with her two bros. We took her back. I didn't like the idea of doing that since I felt so attached already. We got her back and explained the situation. They let us get a boy. The boy I chose turned out to be the noisiest, most energetic of the bunch. He gave me so much trouble on the way home. Jasper pooped all over my jacket and the car seat. Needless to say he is now the sweetest, most gentle/cuddly, loving dog I have ever had. He is still energetic, loves swimming, Frisbee and lounging around, mostly in the sun. I can't help but think about coming home to him from work everyday and spend time with him.
