Hello all! This is bitter sweet for me.
This month I had to euthanize my 8 yr old Lab, Bailey due to Acute Leukemia. He declined so fast that a blood transfusion was needed just to keep him alive before the bone marrow test. The doctors and labs didnít know the type of leukemia it was or what organs it was affecting. Due to his rapid decline in his health we made the decision not to put him through the painful tests.........
With that being said, we are expecting our new Chocolate boy in 4 weeks! I have owned labs all my life but starting over is going to be different now that I am married and have kids on the way....
Looking forward to learning new tricks and ways to keep the house standing!

Welcome to the forum. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Congrats on you new pup. Can't wait for pics at the end of September.
Welcome! A pup and a kid??? Sounds like you're adding two new additions!!! What a wonderful, happy family! I think it's safe to say that everyone here is a sucker for puppy pictures. ;D Baby pics are welcome too--"odds and ends" if you havent already been. ;DOriginally Posted by elmcse
I am very sorry for your loss. This is a good place to find people who understand what you went through.
