Sitting here at work doing some research on my new friend. Her name is Bailey. A 2 year old Choc Lab.
I just got her and ive always loved labs. Have a house in the country with land so she can run and play. This dog was given to me by the owner that had to move to a place that allowed no pets.
Bailey is about 85 pounds, big girl. Full of energy and very very loving. Crate trained and can hold herself for a full day if needed. She was a full on house dog i think with not a lot of training. I hope its not to late and i can find some help here. Especially to commands like, come and stay. She will run from me most times but will come in the house if i go in.
She loves to get into stuff as ive notice most labs do. Cant leave anything on the counter. I went to work the other day and forgot 2 plates full of eaten corn on the cob (12-15 pieces) well what a mess when i got back *laugh*. I was mad and wanted to get mad at her but i read she wouldnt even remember what i was scolding her for. So i cleaned the mess.
Anyway time to get back to reading the forum. Thanks and ill update with a pic when i get home tomorrow.

Yep! Bailey is a honey, and it's obvious that your kids adore her, and she's eating it up.
SHe is a real beauty! We adopted Charlie when he was two - similar circumstances. Welcome to JL!
