I just adopted my first Lab, Milo, back in Dec. 05, and fell so hard for him and the breed that I fostered a yellow Lab this summer, and am ending up adopting him. That would be Benny, the yellow Lab from a puppy mill somewhere in OHIO. I'm all smitten with these boys because they are so loving and handsome, and they are more people oriented than my Pembroke Welsh Corgi (he's a good dog, he's just pretty independent is all.) Benny is very very shy and is frightened of quick movement, loud noises, etc. He can be unpredictable too, not at all aggressive, just so shy because of coming from a puppy mill and all that entails. Benny is approx. 10 months old, Milo is 22 months old, Logan the PWC is 14 yrs. It's quite a mix. Please feel free to offer me suggestions about living in a multi-dog household, or about Labs in general and shy anxious dogs in particular. It's great fun finding people who don't think I'm too crazy for how much I love these guys.
PS Anybody else miss their dogs while they are at work?
