    DefaultHello from New Zealand

    Hi,
looking forward to some good advice. Our 5mth old lab Jessy is a bit of a handfull sometimes. Biting the lead when walking can be a problem and she gets walked close to an hour at least once every day. Very very exciteable and can still have an excitment accident at this age which happened on the weekend when my sister visited. Still a handfull for our 13 year old daughter who is not feeling the love yet.
Will add a photo soon. Forum says image too large from photobucket but its only 175kb

    Nick.

walk are not exercise at that age. And an hour on leash is actually to much forced exercise. your puppy needs OFF LEASH PLAY, daily. at least an hour OFF LEASH. play dates are great, fetching, swimming, playing in the yard.

Hi, new here. Have a 6 month old Lab mix that is very excitable. Thankfully she's working out well with the "choker" collar and the crate has been a big help to qualm that excitement in the house. Seen those crazy times with my girl, but that's a pup, even when they get big like that. Time and patience is the key and I truly believe in time your 13 year old with find that love for Jessy. Have you ever thought of puppy classes and have your 13 year old involved?
