    My family is the proud owner of a black (English) lab puppy we obtained from a breeder in Kerrville, TX. I've hunted with labs for decades, but have never raised one at 8 weeks. He (Cinder) is all puppy -- bouncy, mouthy and a challenge. However, we are enjoying every moment of his puppyhood. Yes, he's exploring his new world with his mouth and teeth, but we know he doesn't have hands with thumbs. He has a strong will and we are having some initial success using praise and affirmation. I look forward to reading about y'all's dogs and learning from your posts.

    Welcome! I'm new on here too. Your pup is adorable! Enjoy him while he's this little, they grow up sooo fast!
