Oops, forgot to mention the three skinned kids! Nikki, Dallas and Hunter!

Its been awhile since I've been here - 2006 or 7 most likely so I thought I reintroduce myself. I was a member here when we brought our yellow Callie home back in 2006. Back then, we had three labs and a tripawd; now its two and that valiant tripawd. Murphy and Indie went to the Bridge within three weeks of each in March of 2011. Murphy developed epilepsy at age 6 and after three years of Grand Mals had finished his long goodbye to his family. Indie developed hip and elbow dysplasia and arthritis and lost the ability to move at the age of 10.

Angus came home four weeks ago and is now a happy 12 week old! Needing emotional support during the training and a refresher course on puppy training, I came back here!

My parents were breeders - what are now commonly known as "reputable" breeders - in the 1960's through the beginning of the 1980's. I've had Labs since I was 8 years old (I'm 53 now and needless to say, i consider them the "best" breed out there!

It is a wonderful thing to be able to come to such a place where I can help and be helped by others who share a love for this incredible breed of dog!

Angus is just precious! I am so sorry you lost 2, especially so closely together and still young.

Well welcome back!! I just joined last fall and I love this forum and these people. They have given me advice, support, and acceptance. Back for puppy training 101? I'll be looking forward to hearing the stories and seeing pictures as puppy grows. Nothing better than puppy pictures
