This is my six month old pup, Shiloh. He's a great little guy, smart as a whip and as well behaved as any pup I've ever known.
Right now, at almost 6 1/2 months (he was born 12/24), he's a little over 20" at the withers and approaching 50 lbs. Any ideas about how tall/heavy he might be around 1 year? Just curiousity.
I should also mention that we were told originally (at around six weeks old) that he was full lab. However, we've since learned that two yellow labs can't have black puppies (the mom was yellow and we were told the dad was also) so it appears that his white markings aren't a "mismark" as we first believed. We believe his real dad is most likely the german shepherd who belongs to the family we got him from (the areas where Shiloh differs from most labs could easily be GSD traits IMO).
Anyway, nice to meet you all! Any advice on care/training, guesses as to his potential adult size, or thoughts about whether the GSD theory is correct are all appreciated!!!
Hello and welcome! Your adorable boy is the same size as my 6 month old. Todd weighs 49 lbs. I was told by my vet and trainer that he'd be around 85 lbs full grown. I guess we will see!

Sometimes the hardest part isn't letting go - but learning to start over.
He's adorable! There are some sites that explain lab genetics if you google it. Also, there are some breeders on here that may know. Try asking Labby.
