Currently, I am waiting to be ready to move into my new apartment. After I moved, I am going to adopt / rescue a labrador whcih is approx. 1 year old. I decided to not to take a young puppy (<6 months), since I do not have time to take care of a young puppy and housetrain it. Additionally, I can't let the puppy at home while I am in college in class. I thought, I join this forum just to expand my knowledge and ask some questions if necessary.
If you have any newbie hints, please post them here.
Welcome this is my first time owning a lab and first time raising a puppy. I can tell you that labs are very wonderful and I am sure you will love yours
Welcome! A year old Lab is still a puppy in many ways! Be prepared to fall in love and discover patience you never knew you had, that is my best advice.
