Been reading the forums since I brought home my Woofie back in March. He is now 4.5 months old and starting to lose his teeth. I can't wait until all those sharp shark baby teeth are gone. Thanks to this forum and all the advise we have progressed very nicely to a happy healthy smart boy who will continue to be my best friend forever. He is very social and great with kids and other dogs. What a joy he is! I am so proud to take him for 2 daily walks to show him off. We have graduated to the dog park for the first time since he now has all his shots and he was brilliant. He came every time I called him without hesitation. I was amazed at how loyal he has become in such a short time. He is my 3rd Lab. First was a Chocolate male, 2nd a Blond female, and now I have my handsome shiny coated Black male. I love Labs!
Of course, he is not always perfect but daily life improves. I still can't trust him in the house by himself and he needs to be watched constantly around my things, but what do you expect from a teething baby. =)
