    DefaultNew lab owner in Pa

We have a 15 mo old English lab. We lost our beagle last November due to kidney failure. I defintely did not want another dog, my heart was too broken but my husband always loved labs since a childhood friend had one. My son has a black lab named Sophie, who is teaching Sadie the ropes, so there was never a debate what the next dog would be. We are emptynesters in our 50's and I wasn't sure that we would be able to keep up with a puppy but she has been a complete blessing and now I am trying to learn all I can about what works and what doesn't♥

Welcome! You've come to the right place. My first dog as a kid was a Beagle mix. There's nothing like a lab to mend a broken heart.
