Hello Everyone, My name is Brandy and I was born and raised and currently reside in Baltimore,MD.To be honest I have been lurking on this forum for a couple of years but finally decided to join. Our whole family are huge animal lovers, We've always had Labs in our family since I was a child, most were back yard bred and had health problems:sad! We lost our last boy Remmington 8/14/11 at the age of 15. In the past 4 years my sister and I have both become certified Vet techs. Going to school and working at Animal Hospitals/Veterinarians we learned the importance of a well bred specimen and the difference between a BYB and someone who breeds to improve the breed! So now between me and my 3 sisters families we have 3 well bred chocolate boys ranging in age from 2years to 6 months! My new boy is out of Liberty's Broad Ridge "Brody" and LiberyCreeks Fighter of the world Layla Ali "Layla". His name is Lakobie's Rolling down the River "River". I just love him and my Nephews(Chocolate's) so so much! I Hope to interact with you all on here and continue to learn more, as everyday I am still learning more about Labradors and would love to keep learning for years to come. Heres a few Pictures Of River at 4 months, he is now 6 1/2 months but I need to upload more Pictures!
Oh, he is a beauty !
Welcome to the board !
Welcome to the forum. River is a beautiful boy.
Thanks to you both, I just love him to pieces😘 and I'm very excited to be apart of the forum finally!
oh, he is gorgeous! Welcome, Brandy and River! (and yes, more pics please!)
First off, I love the name! I always said if I ever had a dog, I'd name him River, after Garth Brooks' "The River" - it's a favorite song of mine. And second, is he a English Lab? He looks like he is stocky and has a blocky head. He is very, very handsome! I'll be a soon-to-be mom of my first Lab, a Fox Red in about 4 weeks. His name is Ryder. So I'm excited to find this forum and I will definitely be on this here and there throughout raising Ryder - it'll be quite a experience, rough & good.

Thanks to you all, I look at him the same as my children! rmcbuckeye, first yes he is bench bred or English as some people call it! wow, My nephew ( a chocolate) from the same parents just 18 months older is named Ryder! Thats where my love for chocolates came from,my whole lifebefore that we always had ByB blacks! I'll have to post some pictures of the two of them together! They just love each other and Ryder comes to my house for puppy daycare while my sister works during the day. Anyways congrats on getting your new edition, I've been looking at alot of pictures of fox reds online, I love the way they look. Can't wait to see Pictures of your Ryder:
I love his head. Good luck with him. We will look forward to more photos as he grows older.
