    DefaultIntroducing Boone from Southeast Missouri!

Boone is currently about 14 weeks old and full of energy and keeping EVERYONE he comes in contact with busy. Since he came to his forever home he has done nothing but grow and change. I forgot just how much it took to keep up with a lab in the house haha! Since bringing him home just one day shy of 6 weeks he has managed to chew up a few shoes, lock momma outta the house (and didnt understand why I couldnt let him out haha), and constantly be in to things. His favorite thing is to take ride in the jeep and go visit grandma...he is a tiny bit spoiled and much loved if you cant tell! I have had many many labs in the past but it has been a couple years since I had to keep up with one and I look forward to learning and enjoying and sharing stories with other lab lovers like myself!

It sounds like he was a rescue... if so, good for you! Is that why you got him so young? He sounds like he's full of energy and a typical labby puppy. Our Sophie sure kept us on our toes those first few months. She really is a good girl now, but still manages to find herself in trouble once in awhile. We are thankful everyday for her, and it sounds like you are just as smitten with Boone. We love pictures her and look forward to yours!

Welcome to the forum. We look forward to more photos of your boy. They are such great company and worth the trouble. I am glad to be passed the puppy stage but would gladly do it all again for Jack. He is such a good boy.

We didnt rescue him but he rescued us! The guy we got him from lets them go to their new homes at 6 weeks and we didnt get to his house till about 10pm and were a good hour drive so he went ahead and let us take him. When we raised them we set 8 weeks but anymore ive heard of alot of people letting them go at six. I have a little house dog (about 6lbs and as big as she will get) and she needed a play buddy he has helped her out from being lonely so much. They enjoy each other but think they are honestly brother and sister. They do everything together and she thinks she is as big as he is haha! I have tried to add a picture into my signature but it didnt work. Any suggestions?
