Welcome Jenn! I do not bathe my dogs unless they have rolled in something very stinky. (One "dove" in to a pile of horse poop and then rolled around to make sure they smelled extra good, lol!). Normally I just rinse them off after a good brushing, after swimming and if otherwise necessary. Labs generaly don't need baths.
What color is your Lab and how old? Please post some pictures when you get a chance

Sometimes the hardest part isn't letting go - but learning to start over.
Welcome Jenn! We love pictures and can't wait to see yours! Tell us more about your labby! I don't bathe Sophie unless she gets into something stinky either...like yesterday! She loves water, but doesn't like it when we take her into the shower. Once in there, she's ok. I think maybe its because its an enclosed space.

Our girls play very hard (dog park every day and walks at least twice per day) so they do get a little stinky! I typically give them a bath about monthly using a very mild oatmeal formula shampoo...
