DefaultNew to the forum but not to Labs-Some free advice

    Hello

I usually do not post on forums but here goes

Don't put off playing chuck it with your lab
Don't miss a walk cause you are tired or late or whatever.
Don't forget to scratch his ears
Don't forget to hug him or for that matter him hug you.

I lost my Lab this morning to luekemia (ALL) and the advice that I am giving is for you more than the Lab. The one thing I learned is that he will love you no matter what but you will never forgive yourself for not taking time out for him

I hope I have not offended anybody

I am so very sorry for your loss. We lost our 12 yr old last May. I remember thinking I just wanted the pain to stop. I cried till I felt sick. So I can empathise with you. We got our Sophie a month or so later. She really helped us with our grief. We still miss our sweet girl, but loving Sophie has helped. Have you thought of looking toward another labby?

No offense taken. Every once in awhile we all need a reminder about just how short life is. I'm very sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear about your lost love. How old was he? They are all so sweet and are taken all too soon leaving us lost and alone. It is so hard to get past this but after you have given time to heal you too may decide to choose another lab to love. Thanks the words of wisdom. We can always give an extra hug or bit of attention. Hope you hang around. Post some photos of your boy.
