Hi all, first off I'm sure glad I found this place because after the first 10 days my wife and I have been searching the siting and reading up on as much as we can. Rufus sure is a bundle of energy! Anyway, we will save that for another post. My wife, 2 1/2 yr old son, and I brought Rufus home on April 14 and he was 2 days shy of 8 weeks old. Our first vet visit was on the 16th where Rufus weighed in at exactly 15 pounds, we've been told he's going to be a big boy LoL. The first 2 nights were rough but we are now getting him to sleep through the night. Hopefully, he takes after his fathers side with several OTCH's. Although, we currently have no intentions on having him do anything but be our family dog with the possible pheasant training down the line. Anyway here are a couple shots of him from today.
welcome! he sure is a cutie!

Welcome!! You have a cutie
~It doesn't matter how smart the dog is,it matters how smart the owner is.
Welcome! He's a handsome boy! Yep....loads of energy! One word of advice, watch the rawhide chews. Many are made in China and have made dogs ill or worse. Also puppies have been known to chew the knot off the end and they can choke on it.

Welcome Rufus is beautiful! I hope you'll post more pictures of him soon.
Rufus is beautiful (and I love his name). Silly question: Do you have ceramic tile under your cabinets? It looks neat, I've never seen that before.
