Hello everyone. I am new to this forum but not labs. We had a chocolate lab for a little over 4 years. Sadly we had to put him to sleep after a sudden illness last summer that left us with 3 dogs. Mollie-12 y/o Shepard mix, Taz-7 y/o dachshund mix, Maggie- 6 y/o schnauzer mix. Then August of this year my princess Mollie had to be put to sleep. She had hip dysplagia and could not get around. My heart literally broke. I had her since 1999. We adopted her from a shelter. She was my best friend. My husband and I had been looking around for another lab puppy the last few months. We found a breeder close to us and her dog had just had puppies. We went and looked at them and fell in love with this chubby little yellow lab with a chocolate nose. They are 3 weeks old now so we won't be getting him until after thanksgiving and we are so excited to have another puppy. I look forward to being a part of this forum
Welcome Missy. Make sure you post some pictures when you get your puppy.

Thank you! My husband likes things that are different and Jackson(our new puppy) was the only one in the litter with a brown nose so we picked him. We were set on a chocolate lab until we saw him and we caved lol I am trying to upload pics but it keeps saying error.
Welcome and congratulations on your new baby! I love the name you have decided on and he sounds like a sweetie! I still can not figure out the picture thing, I get the error message also. I will one of these days have one of my kids sit down with me as they are tech savvy, I am challanged! I hope you enjoy all the advice and info here. I am very sorry that you lost your Mollie and your chocolate Lab, we never have them long enough and they sure take a piece of your heart when they leave. I hope your new baby helps you heal, I know mine has helped me tremedously in the past 7 weeks!
Welcome and have fun with your new puppy! to upload pics I dont think you can till your 10th post. the easiest way is to get a photobucket accout(it is free) adn then upload photos there. After that resize them to whatever size and the copy the IMG code to the mesage box u right in to make a new post and then paste can't wait to see pics.
