    DefaultNew Lab Mommy

    Hello.
My name is Katherine, I'm 26, and I live in North Carolina. My husband and I adopted our first lab (first lab together, he's owned labs all his life) the last week of April. His name is Chunk and he's a full blooded Chocolate lab. He's the light of my life. We have an older dog. He's a golden/lab/chow and we got him from another military family. He's two years old. I hope this isn't too personal but we decided to get Chunk after I suffered a miscarriage. He literally brought me back to life.

My husband deployed in May and both dogs prefer to smell all his old stuff and when he calls on skype their ears perk up and they start running around looking for him. It's very cute.

Right now Chunk is at the hospital battling parvo and I hope it's okay but I'm posting about it in the health section and any advice would be so helpful. Thank you all and I hope our stay here is a very long one.

How many people can make you feel extraordinary?"- John Grogan
