DefaultNew Lab owner in Norfolk Va!

Hi everyone! My name is Rachel and my family (me, 4yr old daughter, husband, 7yr old husky/shiba inu mix and 3 cats) welcomed our firt Lab into our home on Sunday May 29th. She is a 10 wk old yellow and from what Im reading she is a "liver" pigmented yellow. She has a brown nose and eye rims and light eyes. From what Ive ready the coloring is not desirable and a flaw in the breed but I dont want to show or breed her so I dont care. Shes beautiful! It is only our third day but so far so good I think! It is hard though raising a pup!

if you can raise a husky I bet you can raise a lab. She is very pretty and you and your family are very lucky. How do your cats adn dog like her?

the cats ignore her and so far she just ignores them too. She is getting along well with the older dog. Libby (lab) is just now starting to get comfortable and come out of her shell, so today is the first day they have really interacted.

her eyes are so intense! You can definitely see Shiba Inu in your other dog.

I love dudleys. Our Paisley is a dudley and looks alot like your puppy. She's very cute!

Beautiful pup you have there! Our lab wants so bad to play with the in-law's cat when we visit, but the cat wants nothing to do with her.
