Hi there. This is my first post. I have two crazy labs who love to play together both inside and out. The problem is they play so hard outside that they literally dig up all of the grass. I can't even get it to grow anymore. I have a backyard full of mud! Any helpful advice? I love the silly kids but I would also love to have grass. Thanks!
There are just some things you give up when you have labs...grass is one of them. Along with a clean house and fur-free clothes and furniture.
But it's worth it!!
Can't speak for the tearing of the yard. But we LOVE the GreenUm tablets for making the pee spots go away. We get them from here:
Lawn Care Products: Green-UM tablets, treats, and spray for dog urine burn
in my experience you can't have both
If you find a solution, please let me know!!
I an with everyone else. You give up something when you get a lab.
~It doesn't matter how smart the dog is,it matters how smart the owner is.
Is it possible for you to fence off a seperate area for the dogs and one for you to enjoy? Also, keep dogs off wet grass as it is more fragile.
P.S. welcome to the board!!!

You don't list where you live, but around here the key is lots of fertilizer and lots of water! Since we don't get much rain, I'm on an irrigation system so can water deeply whenever needed.
