Just found the site and love skimming over the posts about all the labs.
Our first lab Buddy lived to be 14. He died in 2004 and we still miss him so, so much. We had a cockapoo for 15 years (from the SPCA) and she died shortly after Buddy died.
We are a military family so we chose not to have dogs for a bit...and hated every minute! In 2007 we got two Yorkie-poos (brother and sister..litter mates). They are the best and easy when making a cross-country move!
I finally talked my husband into another lab for our boys (ages 5 and 9) last fall. All it took was surprising him with a visit to a breeder...an hour later we had chosen our pup and took him home.
Murphy is our 6 month old chocolate lab. He is HUGE and we just adore him. He's got the typical lab personality. He doesn't realize he's so big now and still tries to fit under chairs and in our laps. He can't stop sliding on the floor and hits tables and doorways when playing inside...he is just so cute and loving.
So here we are..military family living in South Carolina with a 6 month old lab and 4 year old Yorkie-poos. I look forward to getting to know many of you!
Welcome! post pics please!
