    DefaultHunt Test Results

Well it was a pretty boring hunt test this weekend, which is just fine with me. Amber went out and picked up birds and at no point was I worried or nervous. Every score was a 9 or 10 and i was pretty confident that she would pick up every bird. We now have legs 2 and 3 of our Juniors Title and I think this is a ton of fun and Amber is having a blast.

LOL Kelly. That's a first you are not very "wordy" on your posts! I was wondering how you did this past weekend. Congrats to you and Amber. You'll just have to run your last junior leg and your first senior leg at the next test

Here are the coordinates for all the stations and falls and gunners for the 2 junior tests, if you go to google earth and enter the coordinates you will get a birds eye view of the tests, the only difference will be the first land series as the field in google is already plowed and we still had sogrum growing in ours about 4 feet tall. The very first mark lands in the field in a bare patch but the dogs have to push thru a wall of sogrum about 3 feet thick and 4 feet tall.

For those of you that haven't ever played with google earth it is a blast, you can zoom in and out change angle of your view measure the Yardage of marks in Yardss with the pull down menus, etc. you can also enter adresses and such like mapquest. and you can just cut and paste these marks in. just include the number from the first 33 all the way to and including the W,and it will zoom into the location.

    Land series Saturday

    Line 33 55 52.33"N, 117 39 16.64"W

I just realized why it was boring, that mean judge Donna (aka 2LABPUPS) wasn't there to judge And we were missing the "special" ice chest. Its just not the same without you there Donna. Get that knee better soon, that way you can judge at the IVRC test in April or at least marshal

Whooo-hoooo!!! Congratulations, Kelly and Amber!!! Sounds like a fantastic time, especially since it involved a couple of orange rosettes and a couple of duck bands!

I'm very excited for you...and now, since our shows are over for a while, maybe I can get together with you guys on the weekends to train! I just got my new TriTronics receivers and transmitter, and need a way to try them out with my new GU SOG winger! The new transmitter and receivers work, which is a plus. LOL

I'll have to check out EE to see when the next tests are in California.
