Haven't had time to read the forum much due to training my own dogs and competing in something every weekend. Congrats to all the people earning JH legs in the past couple of weeks. We attended a WC 2 weeks ago and I had three dogs entered and passed, Summer, Zamboni and my CH Kash all passed. Summer also earned a JH leg now, entered again next weekend. Here is a picture of her at the WC.
p.s. Our Lab Club (Badger) is hosting a WC/WCX on 9/6 if anyone in WI/IL is interested -- entries will be through entryexpress.net
Congratulations! Now the question is, can the PUG retrieve birds too?????

Lily (in photo) DID retrieve a pigeon by the wing out of a pond but just waded in to get it as pugs don't swim, they sink. She was a wonderful, wonderful friend and companion and now is keeping her 3 grandchildren and probably some angel child company in doggy heaven.Originally Posted by birdbrainz
Her two black daughters have never gotten the opportunity (Lily used to go everywhere with me, even field training if not too hot) and my rescue pug, Buster loves to tug and retrieve so maybe we'll let him try it sometime.
He will be competing in agility rather than trying for a WC .

(We're fellow Wisconsin-ites as well - we're already attending one in Eleva the weekend of 9/6 to hopefully get Bailey's 4th leg & title!!)
