    DefaultEarly morning water work.

This heat has been brutal. We have been getting up really early this week & took the girls to some wetlands the state has. At least they got two marks & two blinds before we felt it was too hot. This was 7:30 in the morning. Sorry, I didn't bring the telephoto lens. They are kind of hard to see.

    Abby & Kate yesterday morning.

I know how you feel Georgie! The heat and drought has made water hard to find, and you have to get your work in very early. Yesterday, there was a damn 10 foot alligator floating happily in my training pond. He/She/It will be "relocated" by the end of the weekend....

Alligator... And that is exactly why we don't go to Georgia in the winter to train, Mark. Oh those & the cotton mouth snakes. Hope you found that alligator a new home.

The heat has been awful this year, and even tougher on a dog going through transition with a relatively novice trainer. We are just barely getting through double T sessions before its time to hit the pool and cool down.

At least the last couple of mornings have been in the 70's for an hour or so.
