    DefaultRuby Roo at 3

Who can believe I have been plastering her mug all over the forums for three years already?

    WOWZA!

Roo got her canadian CD this passed weekend, but we stayed with a friend so we got some pictures! Critiques are welcome of course, even thought I ***think*** I know where her weaknesses lie.

    Overextended in the rear

    Underextended

    Somewhere in between

Ruby will be bred hopefully in December. I can't imagine my life without her.

i CANNOT believe she is 3 already. have I been part of the lab-board "world" that long

    Congrats on the CD!

She's beautiful (to my uneducated eyes ) A big part of me wishes I had been ready to put in an application for one of her pups. But the line up for them is long I am sure

She's looking great, and congratulations on that CD!!! Who is going to be the lucky man? A while back, you mentioned who you wanted to breed her to originally, but I don't know whether or not he is still a possibility?

Can't wait to see her babies...I'll bet she's a wonderful mama!!!

Very pretty girl. I don't think she's underextended in the second photo - you are just positioned too far behind her. Try getting lower, more to the side, and make sure she is not going downhill.

She's built similarly to Wigeon in structure and with her I make sure she is stretched just a bit and that I am right dead on the side and down on my knee when taking her photo. I want to maximize her front keel and also seeing the opposite leg both front and rear helps with the appearance of overall bone and substance and I find that her rear looks best like this as opposed to completely four square.

I think she'll be a great mom too, but only time will tell. She met her first puppy this weekend (1st she was allowed to play with anyways) and she let her suckle (it was soooo funny) and all. Then flipped her over and cleaned her.

Daddy is Marion Lyons' Tag, Am/Can CH Southerly Outward Bound JH ... for a few reasons. I love him, and his pedigree! And he is super sweet, and he isn't used as often as one would think. I want something different then everyone else.

We'll see what I get, I can't wait! (Ruby neither)

Where has the time gone? I can't believe Roo is already 3??? I just love Tag and can't wait to see the pups. When are you expecting her to come in heat? Will you be going to Potomac 2008? Somehow I missed you last year?
