You may now refer to Logan as
Champion Cobblestone Summer Sunshine,
pending AKC confirmation that is!
He did it and he did it with style! He was WD/BW for his final point yesterday and was shown by our regular handler's, Carlos Carrizo, Junior Handler assistant who Logan simply adores. He showed like a million bucks for her! He floated around the ring with a perfect topline and tail set just asking for the win.
Strangest part was that there was a judge change at the last minute, original judge was ill, and the judge who gave Logan his last point to finish today also gave Hamish his last point to finish on April 9!
So now I guess I'll have to work on hunting and obedience titles...or get another puppy...NOT! *LOL*
Really does help to put a rush on your show photos. Here is Logan's finish photo from last Saturday....
Not to brag but I think it is the best photo of him to date!

Congrats to logan.
The name Cobblestone Summer Sunshine is that like a ring name or a name that is choosen once you have won a title. ;D
Logan's AKC registered name is Cobblestone Summer Sunshine and his call name is Logan. He was born at Cobblestone English Setters in Carmichael CA so the Cobblestone part is the name of the kennel he came from. His litter theme was *summer* and after going over quite a few possible *summer* names with his breeder, who is also his co-owner, we decided on Summer Sunshine which fits his *sunny* personality quite well. His call name was also decided on by mutual agreement with his breeder/co-owner.Originally Posted by dwn4whadever

What a stunning dog. Are you going to special him? Who is the handler in this photo?

Thank you! He is going to be specialed next year when he is a bit older. He just turned 2 on June 12. The handler is Carlos Carrizo. He handled the Bernese Mountain Dog in the Working Group at the Eukanuba National last Dec. in Long Beach that was televised on T.V. The judge is Lowell K. Davis and he also gave the final point to my other English Setter Hamish to finish in April. Small world!Originally Posted by buddysmom
