This is my hopeful show potential boy. He's entered in his first show on May 20. He will be 6 months on May 16. Any opinions, positive and negative? He's going to be a slow maturing boy. He's pretty special to me because he's my first home-bred show pup in a long time. The shots may not be the best because they were taken by my 7 yr old daughter.
What a stunner
I love him ;D If I had bred him I would be extremely happy! He has a nice amount of substance for his age - doesn't look leggy at all. Sloping croup and lowish tail set but may well come right with maturity.
Just a hint - take his collar off for photos if you want to display his conformation.
He is very nice , congrats on breeding him, I can see why your'e pleased. It would be easier to see the neck, front without the collar. And I'd love to see a close up fo his face. But from I see, he's very nice

I understand about the collar. I wasn't planning on taking stacked shots; we were working on leash training. I don't have any photos showing his reach of neck. I'll try to take some new ones today with his show lead. I just need to convince my daughter to help me.
Not a great headshot, here is Spike's head from a different practice session. Note the show lead but no stacked shots because he was in a wiggle mood.
He's a cutie. Looks like he has nice coat!!
He's too cute (and I love the name, too- I have a rescued one-legged African grey parrot named "Spike")! I think he looks great for his age- wow! ;D
