Scout is 6 years old and has had three litters. Wigeon is a 2 year old maiden bitch. Mackenzie is quite good at baiting the girls. I can even tell her "Okay have her take one step - good right there" and "Get her head a little higher.....". We tried to get similar poses for a comparison.
Wow, they really do resemble each other. Nice shots!
That's funny because I don't think they look that much alike!Wow, they really do resemble each other.
They have the same eyes Pretty girls!

Seriously? I think they look a lot alike, especially in the head. Coat color is different, but the
build sure looks the same to me.
Everyone that has seen the photos think they look very much alike. In person they really don't especially their heads. I was surprised at how similar their side profile is even the heads - I think the relative size of their skulls and ears are the same.
Here is a headshot of both. Scout's coat looks "ratty" because this was right after her litter went home. Scout has a shorter muzzle and a rounder backskull. I think both girls have pretty heads but I do prefer Wigeon's longer muzzle.
As far as conformation goes Wigeon has a tad more bone and a bit more coat. Wigeon has a better topline but Scout has better shoulders. I am grateful to have a daughter of Scout just as much as I am to have one of Clint's! Scout has a terrific pedigree being a daughter of a really special dog.
Ah, I see the difference now. But from the side, they have a close build. You are lucky to have all of your crew
Both look gorgeous. I do see that Wigeon has a better backline and more bone, which I think is fantastic. I like Scout's neck and throat better; Wigeon got her daddy's throat. I love Wigeon's coloring, too; the shades of yellow just look so good on her.
Smooches to them both!
Oh and I see Mackenzie got her Wigeon a tag!!! Was wondering when I'd get a peek at her SP present
