this is my 2 yr old male, grandson of "Cutter" aka Ch. Tabatha's Gingerbred Cutter
and a female, maybe show prospect, what do you think?
Ooooo! I love that 1st one. His head is gorgeous! Your little girl is quite stunning as well
Your boy is very nice but the stack shot is not very well set up. He is posting. (leaning back) That makes it hard to look at his front assembly. He has a very nice head. Very classic of his lines. This also will fill out more as he is only two. He looks to have a nice topline although he has the classic arnold rounded croup. Possibly a little low on the tailset. He has a nice coat. Nice rounded feet. He is short coupled and looks to have nice layback of shoulder. I can;t tell because of the foot position but he might have a shorter upper arm. How is his movement and reach?
He is overall a very nice boy. I would love to see him at 4 years old when he is done maturing.
Boys take forever!! lol
Now for that girl.
How old is she? This is not the best age to look at her but overall I really like her.
She is very nice. I love her layback of shoulder and reach of neck. She has a great upperarm. She is a bit longer in the loin which is acceptable in a bitch (more room for babies). Nice topline, nice coat, nice tight feet. I would love to see a headshot of her. She looks to have such a sweet face. I love the tail and the coat on the tail. I usually like to see a bit more rear. (puppy behind the tail) I think that is really the only thing she is lacking.I think she is a show prospect at this age. She is very nice. What is her breeding? How is her movement for her age?
Thanks for all the wonderful compliments!
I realize my boy is posting as well, that was just a quick freestack, so he will look better handstacked maybe.
He does have a rounded croup, I'm hoping he'll mature nicely, and maybe get at firmer, straighter back. I show him in conformation, his results were ok, he doesn't have any points, but he did take a 2nd breeder-judged at a specialty, and at another specialty beat a BOB winning dog, so his placements are fair, but I'd love to see him do better. I think a lot of it has to do with that he gets nervous in the ring sometimes and can't perform his best, he usually doesn't wag his tail (out of the ring he does) which throws off his topline.
he does have the classic 'cutter' head as well as I'm told. I absolutly love his head too.
The bitch has gotten alot of remarks on her coat by many others as well. She is almost 5 months old. She does have awesome, tight feet as you said as well.
here is another of the boy...
here is the girl at around six weeks, pick of the litter...
and a video of the boy, sorry about the lighting and pjs!............
sorry about that, I didn't mean to post my reply yet...
here is a head shot of the girl, not the best, but...
and another of her at around 3 months..
Both are my type, the dog has a nice head and of course being a male it should be bigger than the female, she looks like a girl which I like, they appear to have nice tight feet,I would like to see the tail carried a little straighter whist standing alert, the coats look good, both look good and deep chested,
This is of course only my opinion and should not be held up as a breed standard remark (for the UK)
I am sure they will both go on to better things, and wish you well with them.
