This is from a few weeks ago, from Grace's 1st Place Open Chocolate win.
Photo Op lessons learned this time round....just because you think olive sets off a chocolate dog nicely, in photos, you can't tell at all.* And don't look at the toy the photographer throws...
The second is a bit nicer (me) but Grace looks good in both, I think.* It's hard to tell in these photos unfortunately....
You both look beautiful! Many congratulations on your win!

Yeah, contrast works best unless you are trying to help hide something...like topline. You aren't the only one who has watched photographers throw things...or how about smirking cuz you have friend behind the photographer who is making funny faces! Dog show photos are all timing...and it is hard to not be too excited by your win, remember to smile, does my hair look OK, is my sweater buttoned up right and is this the right dog!
In my case, what needs to be added to that list is "Will what I wear show up well in photos IF we win". Like my pants in person are light enough for contrast but in the photographs it was marginal and the scanned photo is was impossible...
I like your jacket and pin. Congratulations.
