    DefaultSome show candids from Canada....

Hubby took these and I said "focus on the dog" and not the handler.* For once he took my direction * He did a good job.* These are all of my young girl Skye who is 12 mos old and in the 12-18 mos class.

Here are two pics from the Atlantic Labrador Retriever Club Regional Specialty on the Friday.* The judge is Virginia Lynne:

These pics are from the Labrador Retriever Club of Canada's National Specialty on the Saturday.* The judge is breeder Joyce Love (Rickway):

Question on the rear angles...since I am still learning ;D ;D

Grace's rear angles look similar...When I get her stacked, she doesn't have that squared off hock look, and I wondered if that was a problem or not. But your girl looks so nice and comfortable the way she's standing and her back legs aren't positioned to make the hock looked perpendicular to the ground....

Am I overthinking this? I'll have to post a photo of her again soon...

Well, these are not stacked photos...so it would be hard to compare.* My DH just took pics here and there and they are not necessarily when she is "posed" and ready.* She could be still moving into position or just relaxing waiting for her turn to be judged.

You can see in this stacked photo from this past Spring that her hocks are nice and perpendicular to the ground.

That last photo you posted is very nice. I have to teach my hubby to take better pictures...maybe then I can get more of a critical eye with Grace.
