I admit I don't know anything about showing/obedience dogs and I wouldn't ask for a full explanation because I'm sure it's involved. I was wondering though if someone could explain what BIS BISS means to me. Yukon's father was (or is) a champion and I was wondering what that denoted. I tried googling and it just brought up specific dogs.
BIS - Best In Show
BISS - Best In Specialty Show
I'm no conformation-type but I'm pretty sure thats what it means.
Baloo - 5 year old black lab
Peanut - 7 year old minpin
Monster - 3-ish year old frenchie/jack, rescue
kate got it right, and both of those are BIG accomplishments, particularly the BISS.
Here's a couple sites with information
Thanks for the quick response!Originally Posted by Baloo317
