    DefaultPet Potrait Drawings

Hi, my name is Heather and i've decided alongside my freelance graphic design work to do commissioned portrait drawings for your dogs, cats and any other pets. I can do both traditional and digital drawings(please specify which). I would charge starting @ $50(9" X 12" quality drawing paper) for each pet to be done via PayPal. Please email me w/ photo references for more info, thank you for looking!

You need to build a Facebook page. You can't imagine the work you'll get after you put up that information and a few examples of your work.

    Good Luck!

That is lovely. My mother in-law paints pet portraits, has never done any advertising, and stays pretty busy with just word of mouth. She used to work in a nursing home (retired now), and started getting a lot of requests based on a portrait that she did of her dog that was hanging on her office wall.

    Good Luck.

Some people are like slinkies. Not really good for much, but bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.

Thanks. Agreed- I'm starting to think the same way as with my freelance graphic design work, there's more of an audience on there.

It's been pretty hard so far as I've successfully done one portrait for someone in my area so far, before that I had done drawings of my own and a friend's dog that was voluntary. I've been posting ads on Craigslist and haven't gotten much yet. I was just glad my first client was so thrilled with her portrait and said she'd come back for a digital drawing later on and asked her to refer anyone she knows. And thank you, I need all the luck I can get right now.
