The Jager jump up?

Anyone have any sound advice on the jumping up on people thing?(I haven't had the time to check out all the past threads on this subject) Jager tends to greet people by jumping up on them, though alot of my friends dont seem to mind, I do, I may be micromanaging his training, But he weighs in at 85+ and of course I want anyone he meets to appreciate him and his personality, but a child wont, especially if Jager knocks them on their but, I have been working on this with him for awhile now, even when out and bought him a no-jump harness, but I cant keep that on him everytime someone comes over, plus it looks very uncomfortable for him...any advice?
