Great advice! We are on day no. 3 now with Maui. It is going great, but he requires a CONSTANT eye to make sure he isn't gnawing on our new furniture. What did work really well is I ripped up a shirt, tied knots in it, wet and froze it. He does love that for his teething, I guess.
He keeps peeing in the house though. As soon as we see him do it we pick him up and bring him outside. It seems like he is peeing every hour or so, but just a little.
Also, he did eat this morning, the whole bowl. We added a little warm water and he downed the whole thing.
When we go out now with him to pee though, he starts eating up grass, eating leaves on low-lying bushes, even trying to chew on rocks. I had to pull two out of his mouth today. Is that normal?
We had him in the crate today for two and a half hours while we ran some errands, but when we came back he had peed in the crate. I (duh) hung the divider the wrong way and it could swing. So he went to one side of the crate, peed, and then went back to the other side and fell asleep. Darnit! I fixed it now so hopefully it will be OK.
We are going to the vet tommorrow for second shots, along with a stool sample for his review. I took some pictures today but havne't downloaded them yet. I should have them posted in the next few days.

9 weeks old right?... little blatter control at that age... I'd be taking him out every 1/2 hour.He keeps peeing in the house though. As soon as we see him do it we pick him up and bring him outside. It seems like he is peeing every hour or so, but just a little.
Normal lab behavior... perfect opportunity for you to start teaching him "drop" and "leave it" Watch the eating sticks, I let Ender eat them one time and later he threw up a big glop of brown clumped sticks... gross! When we go out now with him to pee though, he starts eating up grass, eating leaves on low-lying bushes, even trying to chew on rocks.
