Miles doesn't miss me.

Okay, yesterday I couldn't stand it anymore and I had to call to see how our baby is doing. Well, he's having a blast playing with his brother and going swimming in the lake and curling up and sleeping with brother. Well, I am glad he is happy and having fun while I am gone. I am not sure he'll want to come back home, though. I am lucky I have such a wonderful place to board him when I go out of town.

Dogs live in the moment and at that moment your not there. It sounds like he is with someone that really cares about him and that he is safe and happy. Enjoy your time off and be glad that you have someone that cares about him as much as you do. Watch how he reacts when you come to pick him up.

I took my baby back to the breeder when we went away for a week. She was around 20 other labs. When I went to pick her up it took her a second to even remember me. It was heartbreaking but I am thrilled she had such a great time. With in 3 hours of being home she was back to her loving self. Don't worry and it's great to know you have a reliable place to leave your pup.

Awww, thanks! They grow up so darn fast, don't they? He really does have a nice temperament. Got very lucky there. He's a quiet, mellow boy.
