Sipsi ~ When I trained My Anya where to do her biz I didnt use treats I used a lot of praise..maybe you need to switch gears and try that instead? My Anya is now over a year old and although I thought her poop eating days were over, she now has found the "delicacy" of Winter Poopcicles ~ Sighhhhh :weary:

I guess that was just a coincidence. I stopped rewarding poop with treats but she's still eating her poop if I can't catch her in the act. I Can never let her play in her area unsupervised. She is doing her business on the pads for now because we live in an apartment and she is not allowed to step outside. (There's lots of stray dogs in our neighborhood) I think she is doing this to clean the area. I Hope she will stop this when she is allowed to go potty outside. Fingers crossed.

The only thing that will work is to pick it up.

Dogs poo after their meals…if you watch you will be able to figure out the timing…20 minutes, 30 minutes or whatever. Pick it up in a bag just like you would at the dog park, and then dispose of it. Make sure that he can't get to the garbage cans to knock them over and get it or then you'll have a dog that is going after the garbage for EVERYTHING ELSE that is in there…once they learn to scavenge for goodies it is almost impossible to break the habit.
