Default How tall should crate be?

I am going to order a wire crate for my puppy and i cannot decide how tall it needs to be. I have it narrowed down to a couple of ones that are midwest brand 36 or 42" long crate. The 36" ones are 27 and 28" high, where the 42" is 31" high. My puppy is a not a purebreed so i don't know exactly how big she will be but assuming its the same as a pure lab. Would 27-28 inches be high enough for her when grown? I would rather get the smaller one because of house space, but I want it to still fit her later.
Heres what i have picked out....

The 27-28" high one should be fine.

I just make sure my dogs will have room to turn around and sit up in their crates. I think the 27-28 will be fine also.

I would go with the bigger one. Remember if your dog is going to be spending hours and hours in there you want it as big as you can so they have more room to stretch. So I vote 42". Or even bigger than that.

ETA: the higher one is also wider at the base which is more what I am looking at - so there is more leg room when they lay down.

Yeah, I bought the biggest one too. Figured there is no need to buy a smaller one when we all know that the dog is going to be big.
